Faculties and Students Attended Cryptographic Algorithm Conference

　　In May 9-10, 2015, Assistant Research Fellow Dr. Siwei Sun, Doctorial students Kexin Qiao, Danping Shi, Qianqian Yang attended the cryptographic algorithm conference 2015, which is held in Nanjing Normal University. The conference aims to discuss the results in each direction of cryptographic algorithm，more than 300 scholars and students from different institutions, enterprises attended this conference.

　　Some distinguished scholars have done invited reports, such as Prof. Steven Galbraith from University of Auckland, New Zealand made a presentation entitled “Lattice-based Cryptography and Computational Assumptions”, this report shows the important results in lattice-based cryptography. Prof. Dawu Gu from Shanghai Jiao Tong University made a presentation entitled “Side Channel Attack on Ciphers”, this report shows the methods and results of attacking 3G USIM cards. Prof. Weiguo Zhang from Xidian University made a presentation entitled “Constructions of Boolean Functions with Good Cryptographic Properties: Compromise and Optimization”, the report shows methods and the important results of cryptographic functions. The conference included many inspects of cryptography, such as homomorphic encryption,lightweight stream ciphers.

　　This conference promoted communication and cooperation among researchers in the field of cryptographic algorithm.
