Graduate student Liqiang Peng attended the 9th international conference WCC held at Paris, France during April 13-17, 2015. WCC 2015 is organized by the INRIA. The aim of WCC 2015 is to provide an international forum for researchers in information security from all over the world for a discussion of the developments of cryptography and the topic of the conference includes coding theory, symmetric cryptosystem and public key cryptosystem etc.
In the conference, Dr. Liqiang Peng gave a presentation about the paper “Cryptanalysis of an RSA variant with Moduli N=p^rq^l”, which proposed a generalized analysis on the moduli of variant RSA. This RSA variant, gives optimal efficiency both in encryption/decryption algorithm and key generation algorithm. Our presentation successfully utilize lattice-based method to factor p^rq^l which has been proposed by Boneh, Durfee and Howgrave-Graham. The presentation lists all kinds of known attacks, includes partial key exposure attacks, small decryption exponent attacks..
During the conference, he discussed and exchanged ideas with conference attendees from various countries.
