学术报告：Multiplication Friendly Embedding and Applications to Secure Multi-party Computation

内容提要：Multiplication friendly embedding is a linear map from an extension field to a linear space that preserve field multiplication. It has found applications in algebraic complexity, secret sharing and secure multi-party computation etc. In this talk, I will introduce this notation and some constructions. We also briefly explain applications of multiplication friendly embedding.

报告人简介：邢朝平，新加坡南洋理工大学教授，主要从事代数数论，编码，密码，计算机安全的研究，在国外重要杂志和会议上发表的论文有70多篇，专著五本，在编码上的研究成果处于国际领先地位，由剑桥出版社出版的Coding Theory -- A First Course一书已在欧洲多所大学作为教材使用，2000年入选“中国科学院百人计划”博士生导师，曾获洪堡奖学金和新加坡国家科学奖，并受邀在欧洲数学家大会和海外华人数学家大会上作特邀报告。
